Health Guidelines

Hey lets face it...they are kids!  They are going to get sick...right?  They are hanging out with so many other kids in the neighborhood, on playdates, or at school that may have a cold or the sniffles.  We ask that if your child is not feeling well or has been to the doctor and the doc says he is sick, it might be a good idea to stay home from church with your child just for that one Sunday.  We certainly want the rest of the family to be here though.  If a child is sick, mom or dad can stay home with him and the other parent can come to Bible study and worship for the day!

We have a few guidlines to help you determine if you should stay home for that Sunday.  Just remember, if you have to stay home we will certainly miss you but it is best for your child's health to recover and get well if you stay home.  We are also concerned about the health of the other kids at church.  We want to make sure a sick child doesn't pass along his illness to another family.

This is certainly not an exhaustive list, there may be other symptons your child has that would require you to stay home but here are some of the more common symptons:

  • Fever
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Yellow or green fluids from the nose
  • Fluids from the eyes
  • Sore throat
  • Lice
  • Undiagnosed rash
  • Chronic cough
  • Any contagious illness that has been diagnose by your pediatrician

If they have any of these symptoms, let'em sleep in and get well that Sunday.  Thanks for understanding!  We can not wait to see you back after your child is well.
